To capture students’ attention, our Source of Strength peer leaders rocked blow-up costumes while spreading help, hope, and strength! Peer leaders ensured every PGM student also received a sticker with 9-8-8 crisis line information. PGM #sourcesofstrength wants all students and staff to know they matter. ❤️

FCA at PGM is hosting a food drive to support families in need. Donations accepted November 3-19 in the front office! Thank you for your support. 🥫

Many of PGM’s friendliest and most positive 6th graders were invited to participate in the Sources of Strength program. Yesterday, they learned the basics of how SOS spreads Hope, Help, and Strength to all students at The Grove. ❤️

PGM staff members enjoyed participating in the Battle of the Brains Trivia Night! Friendly competition between teams from Lowndes and Valdosta schools was a great way to kick off Winnersville Week. 🏈

How can we, as environmental problem solvers, design solutions that reduce waste and improve sustainability at PGM? 6th graders are working in the “ASK” phase of the engineering design process to reduce waste by identifying items in our school lunch menus that are compostable and non-compostable. They also recorded observations from their classroom mini compost bins in their STEM journals. #STEM

We saw plenty of western attire at PGM for "Wrangle the Wildcats" day! 🤠 #OneLowndes #Winnersville

The PGM counselors completed a classroom activity with 8th graders about technology responsibility. Using upside down goggles, students were taught to be mindful that social media can distort our perspectives — unless we take time to look at things clearly.

Mrs. Justice's students had to solve a series of clues based on their short story "The Lottery" to break out of a digital escape room! 🔐

🌐 This Digital Citizenship Week, our students reviewed how to make smart and safe choices online! Each day, they checked out a new Digital Citizenship Tip on the lunchroom slideshow — covering topics from protecting personal info to being kind online.
Shoutout to Mrs. Soldani for creating an awesome bulletin board about digital citizenship, our counselors for teaching lessons about cyberbullying, and Mrs. Hamel for sharing helpful reminders and a MagicSchoolAI room where students could learn more! 💬💻 #DigCitWeek #SmartOnlineChoices #ThinkBeforeYouPost

Dr. Sherman's class had an exciting adventure at the Turner Center for the Arts! The students eagerly toured the museum and got their hands dirty while crafting beautiful decorative ceramic pieces from clay. The fun didn't stop there; they wrapped up their day with a delightful picnic lunch at the park. A big thank you to the generous community sponsors—Susan Wainright, Christie Weaver, Amanda Ives, Shauna & Ed Branch, Trey & Shea Bassford, and Krekoria Ward—who made this memorable field trip possible! 🎨

Mrs. Kiefhaber's students became news reporters covering the Treaty of Versailles! They wrote podcast scripts explaining the terms of the treaty and used Canva to record their podcasts. 🎤
