🌪️✨ Real-world science in action! SrA Silvano and A1C Balmes from the 23 OSS/OSW at Moody AFB visited our 6th-grade science students to share their expertise on weather, air pressure, weather fronts, and air masses. 🌦️✈️
They provided real-life connections to these topics and demonstrated how understanding weather is crucial to keeping an Air Force base running smoothly. Thank you for inspiring our future scientists! #STEM #WeatherExperts #RealWorldLearning #MoodyAFB

These five PGM teachers were excited to attend the STEM Leadership Academy on St. Simon’s Island this week! 😄 #STEM

How can we mitigate the effects of the spread of invasive species on local ecosystems after Hurricane Helene? 7th grade kicked off their PBL exploring this question with visits from two guest speakers on Friday. Clint Hon from Grand Bay Wetlands Education Center and Jim Page from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources shared information on native and invasive species found in our area. We appreciate these community partners coming out to teach our students! 🌀 🐟 🐊 🌱 #STEM #PBL

PGM students stepped back in time to explore the science behind history on a STEM field trip Saturday! Through hands-on activities, they dove into aerodynamics, cryptography, medical innovations, and engineering feats, gaining a deeper understanding of how technology played a critical role in the success of the Air Force during WWII. By experiencing these innovations firsthand, they connected with the past in a whole new way. #STEM #HistoryInTheMaking #EighthAirForce

On Friday, PGM’s EPIC classes hosted a celebration for Black History Month. Their students, partnered with students from various social studies classes, created some wonderful presentations!

Are you a rising 9th grader interested in joining in the Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen? A meeting will be held this Tuesday, March 4 at 6:00 PM in the LHS cafeteria. 🎶 #OneLowndes

Ladies of Excellence enjoyed an empowering day at the 27th annual Sisters-to-Sister Summit at Valdosta State University. Saturday's fun-filled event focused on the power of S.H.E. (Safety, Health, & Education) and was sponsored by the American Association of University Women. 💜

Congratulations to our February students of the month!! 😄 #Leadership #PositiveBehavior #HardWork #Kindness

The 7th and 8th grade bands performed exceptionally well at festival yesterday! Both received superior ratings from the judges and many compliments. We are so proud of these musicians! 🎶

Good Afternoon Pine Grove Families!
We need your voice! As part of our commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for our students, we are asking all parents and guardians to complete the Georgia School Climate Survey. Your feedback helps us understand how we’re doing and where we can grow—because when we work together, we are "Better Together."
This short, 22-question survey is completely anonymous and takes just a few minutes to complete. It asks about your experiences with our school, how we engage with families, and what we can do to improve. If you have multiple children at the same school, please complete just one survey for that school.
Your input matters, and we truly appreciate your time in helping shape the future of our school community. To take the survey, please click this link: We need your voice!
