This summer, 8th grader Alyx Robinson competed in the USATF Junior Olympic Track and Field Meet in Los Angeles, CA. She placed 1st in javelin, throwing 159-0 feet, and second in the shot put with a throw of 44-4 feet. Her javelin throw placed her #8 in the nation amongst all high school throwers! Go Alyx!! ⭐️

Our STEM campers didn't just brainstorm solutions this week—they built them! Students took on PGM's big sustainability questions and engineered some incredible, hands-on projects, including:
Pond Management 🎣 - Built bio-filters and fish cribs to keep our school pond healthy!
Waste Reduction ♻️ - Designed and built working waste sorting machines to improve recycling!
Sustainable Food Production 🚜 - Constructed vertical gardens and coded Sphero robots to automatically "harvest" crops.
Everyone had a blast getting creative while exploring the design process!
