Cross-curricular learning in action! 7th grade accelerated social studies students have been busy learning about the impact of communism in China, perfecting argumentative claims, and debating in Socratic seminars. After a mini-lesson from Mrs. Dunn on using imagery and symbols, they blended historical research with visual argumentation by creating political cartoon posters. They completed their deep dive into Chinese history and the power of persuasion by writing an essay in ELA. Great work, future historians! ✏️🎨🇨🇳 #Interdisciplinary #Teamwork #Research
