❤️ Our Lowndes High HOSA students spent the month of August collecting items to donate to the Macon Ronald McDonald House. This effort was done in honor of a local family who has been blessed by their services over the past couple of months. We are proud of our HOSA students for giving back and supporting families in need. 💙
On August 27-28, Lowndes High School’s FCCLA Officer Team traveled to Camp John Hope in Fort Valley, GA, for Discover Training. Through engaging workshops such as “Growing Your Garden of Membership,” the officers learned new ways to recruit and retain members and how to keep them engaged throughout the year. Other workshops covered community service, national programs, officer duties, and even wellness and self-care. The team returned with bright ideas and is excited to implement these new strategies into their chapter plans!

Seniors and Parents/Guardian of Seniors, LHS Guidance will be hosting a Senior Parent Night on September 9th at 5:30PM in the LHS Performing Arts Center. We will be giving parents information about navigating senior year, college admissions, scholarship applications, and life after graduation!
