Ms. McCormack’s EPIC class researched animals of their choice and created biome boxes showcasing each animal's habitat, predators, and diet! Mrs. Rackley's 7th grade computer science students developed algorithms for brushing your teeth. They used the program draw.io to create flowcharts depicting their algorithms before collaborating to revise their ideas! #STEM #ComputerScience

Mrs. Hopkins’ Georgia Studies classes dedicated time yesterday to watch former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral service. Students had class discussions and researched facts about his presidency and post-presidency accomplishments. 🇺🇸
6th grade ELA classes kicked off their argumentative writing unit with a "Crime Scene Kitchen" activity! After reviewing how to write and support claims, students gathered relevant evidence from Mrs. Soldani's creatively-staged scene to support their claims about what had been cooked. 🧁🔎 #PGMwrites

PGM understands that the care, warmth, and encouragement we provide are as important as the curriculum we teach. This is never demonstrated more than in our yearly Tree of Giving.
This year, our Tree of Giving program was able to brighten the holidays for 26 kids from 10 families with hundreds of gifts. These gifts were joyfully given from students, parents, teachers, administrators, social workers, clubs, churches, community partner businesses, and our Parent Action Team.
We would just like to say thank you to our PGM and #OneLowndes community. We are constantly amazed by the generous nature of our school family. Thank for being #BetterTogether day in and day out for our students. Happy Holidays!
