Last week, we celebrated our amazing Students of the Month for the 2023-2024 school year with a rainy day picnic! 🎉 It was a great time with our families as we enjoyed prizes, yummy hotdogs and burgers and delicious ice cream. Thank you Tatum Insurance for feeding not only these awesome students and their families, but also our entire staff! Thank you Dairy Queen of Lake Park for providing Blizzards and Ice Cream Sandwiches for all to enjoy. We are so grateful to these community partners for your support in making this event possible. It was a great time making memories and enjoying this special time together!! 🧺🍉

Congratulations to our April Teacher and Staff Member of the Month. Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Brianna Gilbert. 🎇 Mrs. Gilbert is an exceptional team lead for 3rd grade. She consistently goes above and beyond for her students and team, showing patience and kindness in all interactions. She is admired for her intentional instructional decisions, always looking for new ways to support student success. Mrs. Gilbert's dedication as a teacher and coworker shines through in her caring and supportive approach towards everyone at LPE. Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. Misty Ford. ✨ Mrs. Ford is committed and dedicated to LPE. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist anyone in need. Mrs. Ford's creativity shines through in helping teachers engage students, actively contributing to the PBIS committee with innovative incentives. Her loyalty, passion, and willingness to help wherever needed make her a valued and inspiring member of the team at LPE. Congratulations to both of these ladies! Ms. Weldon’s 4th grade social studies class played a game of “trashketball” (trash can basketball) to review for their upcoming civil war test. They worked in teams to correctly answer questions before tossing the ball into the bucket for points! 🏀 #learningatlpe

Mrs. McRae and Mrs. Adams' classes are are counting down to summer 🌝 using the alphabet to guide the activity each day. N was for NEON so they enjoyed a fun math glow day! #learningatlpe

🎭 What a magical journey it's been! ✨ Our music program showed out this weekend with their 🧞‍♂️ Aladdin Jr. performances!🎭 If you missed it, you missed an amazing show! These kids and teachers worked incredibly hard and it paid off! Mrs. Mays and Mrs. Willis you should be very proud! 💕 🧞‍♂️Huge thanks to everyone who made our performance possible - from the cast and crew to our supportive parents and staff to our community partners.
