With effective communication being a top priority in Lowndes County Schools, we are excited to announce that we are adopting a new communication platform run through the brand new One Lowndes smartphone app.
The One Lowndes app will enable seamless two-way communication with your student’s teachers through the portion of the app called "Rooms," keeping you updated on all things related to Lowndes County Schools.
Middle and high schools will begin communicating through the app in March. Elementary schools will begin in the Fall.
Middle and high school families, please go ahead and download the One Lowndes App to be prepared for an email invitation to sign into Rooms and connect with your student's teachers on Tuesday, February 27th.

Texas Roadhouse is hosting its first annual book drive! To work in conjunction with our Community Partner, we are setting a goal at LMS to collect 500 books! If our goal is met, the homeroom with the most donations will receive a prize! There will also be a prize for the person who donates the most books!
Books may be new or gently used.
Books will be collected from Feb. 19-Feb. 29.
Books may be given to Ms. McLeod or Mrs. Kight
Mr. McDade's 7th-grade science class dove into the fascinating world of biology by dissecting frogs! 🧪🐾 It was an exciting hands-on experience that allowed us to explore the intricacies of these amazing creatures.
From identifying internal organs to understanding their functions, we gained valuable insights into the anatomy of frogs. 🤓🔍 The students showed incredible curiosity and teamwork, making this lesson unforgettable.
