Day 2 of SAIL Week was all about the letter A: BE ACCOUNTABLE! Our Vikings dressed to impress in professional attire and future career outfits, showing that accountability is key to reaching big goals. 👔🩺💼 In homeroom, students unpacked what it really means to own their choices, take care of responsibilities without constant reminders, and fix mistakes when they happen. During lunch, things got active with a game show challenge where students proved they know the difference between making excuses and taking true ownership! 🎤🧠 The big takeaway? Accountability isn't about being perfect—it's about learning, growing, and building trust so people know they can count on you. #PGMVikings #Northbound #PBIS

Our PBIS SAIL Week is off to a SAFE start! Staff and students suited up in safety gear today as we focused on the letter S in SAIL, which stands for "Be Safe." 🥽🦺 During homeroom, our Vikings broke down what it really means to make choices that protect themselves and those around them. Then, things got competitive at lunch with a game of "SAFE or SINK THE SHIP!" 🚢 Students put their decision-making skills to the test, tackling real-school scenarios from hallway traffic rules to cafeteria etiquette. Whether in the halls, cafeteria, or classrooms, our students are learning that keeping our school safe takes all of us working together. ⚓️ #PGMVikings #Northbound #PBIS

Our 6th graders tackled the ultimate sorting challenge in social studies. They analyzed real-world school scenarios to decide: is it a conflict, a change, or BOTH? They are discovering that for every history clash, a major change always follows! 🌎 #PGMVikings #Northbound

🦆🌿 Life Science in Action at PGM! 🔬🌎 Yesterday, our 7th grade science students took learning outside and traveled to the lake on the PGM campus! Students made real-world observations as they identified and recorded the biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) factors within these ecosystems. 🌳🐟💧☀️ Back in the classroom, students used their observations to complete a CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) focusing on organisms they observed and the characteristics of life that demonstrate how we know they are living. 📝🔍 There’s no better science lab than the world right outside our classroom! #PGMVikings #STEM #Northbound
